The beating heart of HABIT is our Community. Without the support of Friends, Family, local Sporting Clubs, local Schools and like-minded businesses such as Project Kick It, this space wouldn’t be possible. The phrase “It takes a Village…” perfectly describes the realisation of HABIT.

STR(STRENGTH)

HABIT’S ‘STR’ sessions are the core of the program. Strength training isn’t all about getting bigger muscles, in fact it’s very far from it. We lift weights to improve muscle function, bone strength and decrease the risk of injury. Our goal is to build resilient bodies and promote a greater quality of life that will allow you to do the things you love for longer. Each week consists of three Strength focused sessions.

MONDAY
"LOWER BIASED DAY"

Where we focus on Hinging and Squatting. Each session will involve a blend of Strength, Hypertrophy and Power.

WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY
"UPPER BIASED DAY"

Where Pushing and Pulling will be the main components. Each session will involve a blend of Strength, Hypertrophy and Power.

CON(CONDITIONING)

HABIT’S ‘CON’ sessions perfectly compliment the Strength component of the program, however their role is just as vital. To put it simply, the goal is to get your HR up, get a little sweaty and leave feeling real good. Adequate training and development of the bodies Energy Systems improves our ability to recover within and between sessions. As well as developing our base fitness, these sessions also improve the bodies ability to deal with the physical and mental stresses of life. Each week consists of three Conditioning focused sessions.

TUESDAY
"UPPER BIASED DAY"

Where the main component will be upper specific erg/machine work. We’ll blend this with free weight movements performed at hight intensities with the goal of improving efficiency of movement and skill under fatigue.

THURSDAY
"LOWER BIASED DAY"

Where the main component will be lower specific erg/machine work. We’ll blend this with free weight movements performed at hight intensities with the goal of improving efficiency of movement and skill under fatigue.

SATURDAY / FAM

Our interpretation of a ‘game day’ includes elements of both strength and conditioning. While the session will be mentally and physically challenging, the primary focus is community.
